About Us

Founded in June 2014 by Yesmien Khota, Chief Editor, the magazine is fairly young and is currently in its teething stages. The aim is to create a platform for the modest woman to feel comfortable with herself by exposing the modest fashion industry. To inspire the modest woman and empower her with the knowledge that will make her relate to the everyday issues that all women have to deal with.

We have been quite successful in promoting our first and second edition by word of mouth via our Facebook page. Covered Magazine currently has a dedicated following on Facebook without any formal advertising. We hope to increase our following through strategic digital advertising and branding in wanting to take the magazine to new limits.

The team consists of three board members and a bank of freelance writers who are passionate in their fields.
